I am not at home at the moment, so I don't have the FSM to read; however, this thread may help.

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/does-anyone-have-picture-fuse-mapping-ratings-under-dash-361852/

This fuse panel is located near the driver side kick panel (just up and behind the clutch)

good luck

It seems that all those fuses are working properly. Is there any other place to check?

There are a couple of more fuse panels in the engine bay. You will just have to do a search in this forum and I am sure you can find plenty of threads on this topic.

good luck

It would be if the CD player were his problem. According to the title of the thread, the headunit will not turn on.

You can buy a cheap test light from Wal-Mart or a parts store that will test the integrity of the fuses. Sometimes they can be burnt but not visible. It's best to check them with a test light. There is a factory service manual available for download at the top of the 3rd gen section that will explain everything you need to know on how to check the fuses. You do not need a volt meter to do this, initially.

Also, if the dome light does not work, this is a good indication that the room fuse is burnt, and the radio is part of that circuit

Did you ever solve this problem? Now I'm having it!

I think you gave it to me

Weird thing is the power eject works, but the head unit doesnt.

You guys check your ground? There should also be a fuse in the head unit itself. There is also 1 positive (constant) wire and 1 positive (ignition) wire to check. And of course, don't forget about the fuses.

Many aftermarket sterios have fuses in the back of them as well, usually near the wiring harness.

Ah guess i was beaten to it.
Ill read the whole thread next time.

Just recalled that I had that exact same problem once. I ended up just trashing the thing.

Actually the "cigar" fuse is what is inline w/ the headunit. Check that one. It was my problem.
