F'd Up Paint

Ok so out of nowhere my paint starts flaking. I'm washing the car and I'm like WTF! The spot was little its growing. And now theres a small spot by the antenna, and above the passenger side headlight. I read before about some paint problems with the FD's. Has anyone had this experience and how cooperative is Mazda with paint fix. Or am I screwed? I.E. Comin out of my pockets! By the way car is always, and I mean always garaged.

Its probably the clear coat. Im going through the same drama crisis right now. Mine is horrible, its peeling on the wing, around the sunroof, and other misc. places. Im getting mine repainted with a better clear coat/process than it came with factory.

Yeah thats where my first spot is, around the sunroof on drivers side. If mazda were to fix it, what would be the quality of a respray?

Mazda is not going to fix it, you've got a 12 year old car for pete's sake. If it hasn't been repainted by now, its ready for one.

That would be like going to Mazda 10 years/100,000 miles later and saying... I think my motor is blown, could you fix it? In either case, it comes out of your wallet. Just save up for a nice paint job and call it a day.
