well tonight was a HORRIBLE night! I was going home on the parkway and taking an off ramp with some golf, or GTI behind me. this jetta had been egging me on to race for the last 15min, but I couldn't do anything because im in break in. long story short the s.o.b is following me through the exit flashing his high beams at me and honking. at the end of the turn he tries to cut me off on the shoulder but THERE IS NO SHOULDER!! he gets so close I have to hug the turn as close a possible so he wouldn't hit me. I guess we where both too close to the guard rails and I tap my bumper on it and spin out. he also seemed to tap his car as well. when im sitting in the middle of the street freaked out of my mind the *** hole races off! so now im looking for a new bumper, and drivers side fender. I might as well go 99spec front bumper but they are way to expensive! do any of you guys know a place to find one for a decent price. or if any members have one for sale PLEASE PM me! thank you guys so much!

A body shop can remove the wrinkles in that bumper.

I had a guy back into my FD and it had some wrinkles in the bumper like that. It looks perfect now.

man that REALLY sucks. from what it looks like ur FD is really clean. thats crazy someone would do something like that. So you do want my bumper? It will look kinda goofy and throw off that clean look of your car. just let me know. i'll try to get a cost for shipping tomorrow.

 

Why were you racing when you knew you had suspension issues of some sort? Why didn't you just back off and let him pass you?

i was not racing. i just got a new reman put in about two weeks ago. i posted that because before the motor blew, and i could actualy go those speeds that was a problem i was having. i wanted to help stop that before my motor was fully brooken in so it wouldent be a problem anymore. the fact that my motor only has about 350miles on it is why i wasent "racing".

 

i think i have found all of the pieces i need, but i cant find a drivers side head light cover. does anyone know where to find one?
