***Help*** FD Stereo Bracket

Hello,

My FD rx-7 came with an aftermarket navi unit which just sat in the empty cavity where the oem stereo sat.

I want to put a standard single din aftermarket cd player in, but I don't know how to mount it. I have no brackets, but the one built inside the back of the dash.

Can someone point me in the right direction of what I need to install my stereo? What does everyone else use? I'm getting no answers in the Interior/Audio section.

Thank you!

you should be fine, just get a pocket and use a cage that a the radio comes with. The center bar was removed for the double din to fit but it should be fine just lock the cage in tight.

fd's dont have brackets like toyotas and nissans.

go to a shop that carries the same radio brand you have and ask if they have any cages for your radio. If they are nice they may just give you one.
