And that's with my motorsports discount! The thing makes a god-awful sound when it engages and disengages. Looks like I'm getting a pulley kit and chucking the airpump and ACV. Hopefully my antiquated HKS GCC can pull enough fuel out at idle to smooth out my idle.

No - I didn't pay for it, was curious to see how much it was. My smog cert is good for the next 2 years so I'm not going to worry about getting an air pump for a while.

 

Some of the prices are flat ridiculous. I was either quoted or told that a stock cat cost over $2K, for example.

I'm pretty sure it's bad. It's clicking and "zipping" when the clutch disengages and disappears when I disconnect it.

 

Yeah, I remember when I first bought my car I took it to rotary reliablity and racing and asked for a new belt for my greddy pully kit because the air pump seized and they didn't know how to get one (so they said). They then pulled one out of someone else's car in the shop and sold it to me for $500. Yeah, it lasted about a month. I then found this forum and bought one for $50.

 

I will be getting rid of mine and all of the emmissions "junk" in about two weeks. If you pay for shipping its yours.

I have about 3 of those smog pumps sitting around.

 

I also have an airpump available. Worked when I removed it and I've polished it.
