$500....wwyb?

Haven't done anything to the car yet, no reliability mods, 65,000 miles, all stock R2. I thought about waiting about a month so my brother and I could buy a 2-post 6,000lb lift for the garage....which would come in handy a lot in the near future because we could pretty much make the money back on it buy working on all the ricers faux dual exhaust, suspension, etc...

I think Matt just summed it up. A Catback will run you about 4-500 right there so you might want to hold off for that. Also if you have some extra cash get 2 K&N cone filters with a 2 1/2" opening. That way you can have an inexpensive intake and get all that plastic crap out from under the hood.

Congrats on the R2, Jimmy. My personal favorite reliabilty mod would be......a beater. Bleh. I wish I had one, eh but who cares, daily driven = daily fun.

ryan, it's not getting shipped until wed, it's down in north carolina. i wish it was here though, been driving around a lot lately, just wishing i had it here......i'm not gonna 'take it out' until after i've driving it for awhile and gotten used to the sequential turbos and what-not... i was with andy tonight and he mentioned some sort of boost controller you have, nothing like a PFC or computer or anything like that, said you set it up so that there isn't so much of a drop between the spooling up of each turbo. How long are you up here for? rivercade starts on wednesday, but i dunno about going to it yet. we're gonna have to set something up so that dano, me, andy and jack(long ram jack has the black prelude) can make it down to CB sometime this summer and cruise around some nights. give andy a call 712-252-3339 home or 712-251-9822 his girlfriend's cel when you get in town.

UPDATE: just found out the credit limit on my credit card was bumped up like 3 weeks ago, so i actually have about 1000-1500 to play with, but i think i'm gonna do some reliability **** first (silicone hoses, boost and water temp gauge, a-pillar, torque brace) and save up so my brother and i can pick up a 2-post lift for the garage. then the modding will have nothing holding it back
