The 900hp myth again. Does no one realize that if the 787B had that power it would have won other races in the season?

Stubbled across this great video the other day. I have to admit that I've never been much a of fan of drifting but I really enjoyed James' story and the overall presentation of the motorsport. Well worth the watch imo and turns out he's got a sweet 4 rotor FD. Plus all the vintage euro rally pics are totally awesome.

OMC 4-rotor boat racing engine in the early-mid 1970’s that I never knew about until seeing this video:

.

edit: I do see now that it’s been on the forum before.

Will be interesting to see how this engine does and hearing him say that a wet sump system is better than a dry sump system makes me feel good about my decision.

I don't think he's the guy I'd trust as a subject matter expert on rotaries or oiling systems...

Ive been reading through this and there is a lot of good info and videos in here. I thought I would add some of my favorite creators as well.

Narita Dogfight - If you are into track built FD's than this guy does some great stuff. Not a whole lot of talking, he just records and lets the clips speak for themselves. All around its well shot and an interesting watch. [ [url]https://www.youtube.com/@NaritaDogfight ]

RAD Potential - Decently well known guy and is very knowledgeable on the platform. I believe a couple of us have even had the pleasure of having him work on our cars. I found his channel while I was rebuilding my motor for the first time. [ [url]https://www.youtube.com/@RADPotential ]

Video Option - A classic. Even if you cant understand what they are saying like me, its still an enjoyable watch [ [url]https://www.youtube.com/@VIDEOOPTION ]

Y's Produce - A small shop in Japan that has put together a pretty wicked 4 rotor. [ [url]https://www.youtube.com/@ysproduce7329 ]

TAKEaSHOT - I had seen someone mention this channel earlier but they put together a coverage of Japans Car events, I found them because of their coverage of Japans Rotary events. Pretty interesting stuff! [ [url]https://www.youtube.com/@takeashotjp ]

Best Motoring Official - Another classic, Great content and very interesting to watch. A personal favorite video of mine is the touge shootout with the Feed rx7 and Jays S2000. great stuff. [ [url]https://www.youtube.com/@BestMOTORing ]

Collector Car Feed - Maybe an acquired taste but if you want a no nonsense car YouTube channel that tells you about the pit falls of buying a used car in todays day in age than look no further. They also have a marketplace aggregator that shows you listings of a specific model across the United States, refining the experience of searching for a car on Facebook marketplace. [ [url]https://www.youtube.com/@CollectorCarFeed ] , [ https://collectorcarfeed.com/ ]

^ I agree with Catchpole's opinion on old Japanese switchgear. I had an '89 Accord and the plastic controls felt "cheap but serious."
