...you can't remember how the hell the fuel door opens!

I felt like such a dumbass today.

Pulled up to the pump got out and was like, "uh, yeah...how the **** did this work?"
Popped the hatch open about 17 times before I figured it out.

Man, it was weird. Must be what Alzheimer's is like.

Don't feel too bad man, I did the same thing when I first got my FD. I've built rotary engines, piston engines, know how to tune for a lot of boost but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to open that damn fuel door.

I kept trying to follow the markings on the hinge and it points down, than finally texted the guy I got the car from and he suggested I pull the lever to the right while pressing down on it. Lol

Have no idea what you're talking about...

My theory is that I'll know it's time to sell the car when I have to buy those shoes with the Velcro straps.

Yeah, it actually WAS kind of scary and not the first time it's happened. Probably IS the onset of some sort of dementia...sigh.

As long as you aren't filling your hatch with gas and putting groceries in the gas tank, you're fine

Brain Farts...

Yesterday afternoon I was out looking for some quality box-end wrenches. Last evening as I was going to bed I couldn't remember what they were called (???-end). Really annoyed me!

So don't feel bad, you're not alone...

My favorite lines from that movie:

DK: I've already beat this piece of **** once!
Sonny Chiba: Good. Then it should be easy.
