I love spending time driving this thing... How can I not love it... The 3r Gen Mazda RX-7 was always my dream car. I love the timeless curves, how the rotary engine sounds, how she handles, but most importantly, how the interior looks. The FD RX-7 help me release all the anxiety and pressure that I get from work. However, this car is missing something very important and it's easy to notice it specially when driving to the Cars and Coffee meetings. It's missing a dang cup holder... Check out how I modify the center console and created my own "brap" holder. I think it turned out pretty darn good!

I bought cup holders for my FD from Garage Alpha. I’m surprised you didn’t do the same when you got those floor mats. Clean installation though. Congratulations.

 

$95 was too much for me. I wanted something that looked similar to the EVO-R center console.

 

You made the right call. I wish I would’ve thought of it before I sold my backup tunnel cover. @RX7 RAGE you might wanna consider doing this if you want cup holders. The Garage Alpha ones are kinda janky tbh. They fall out if you scoot your seat too far forward
