TJ Hunt rx7...concerned...
MCM is another entertaining and non-D-bag youtube producer duo.
This seems similar to the (first) Fast and Furious / Initial D fads, people will want an RX7 for the wrong reason for a while and then it will eventually blow over. FD prices are higher than they have been for a long time, so hopefully that will help keep too many from getting trashed by people who don't know better.
On the topic of youtube channels, what are some alternatives you would recommend? Richard Viscasillas might be my favorite channel, he works with Carlos Lopez (CLR in Florida) and has a ton of interesting rotary-related content. I end up watching Speed Academy, Evans Tuning, and Engineering Explained pretty regularly for technical content.

I watch Engine Masters, which has some of the Roadkill Garage guys. They put an engine on an engine dyno (always an American V8, usually naturally aspirated & carbureted but sometimes turbo, supercharged, or nitrous) and try different things to make more power.
He put a junkyard 2JZ into his 350Z and just went to a serious drifting event (not highschooler in a parking lot crap). Then he wondered why the turbos blew and why it overheated, while doing one of the most absolutely abusive things you can do to a car.
Talk about learning the hard way. His tuner didn't want to be shown on camera or publicly named. I wonder why...
and yet, I'm still watching at least some of his click bait vids, and here we are talking about him. So I guess he wins.

TL: DR he didn't record the crash, so don't bother watching the click bait.
Another youtube channel that's pretty fun to watch is Sloppy Mechanics. This guy will LS swap and ebay turbo pretty much anything.

He can't even pronounce RE-Amemyia.
He's saying it wrong now on purpose as a joke.
I know this character is a generalization of the youtube/instagram "car" guy millenials nowadays....but I'm convinced EA/Ghost based the character "HashTiger" off of TJ Hunt.

TJ butchering the pronunciation RE-Amemiya ... I find that some what disrespectful
And he still continues spreading misinformation... (This really gets me irked)
I don't like the dude or his target audience, but hey you have to give it to the guy for alleviating your "concerns" and importing an authentic bumper, hood, headlights, and while not my taste CSG rear lights and turn signals.
I didn't fully watch his video, 15 minutes to install a hood?
Yeahhhh if there is misinformation there, you're not looking at the right sources for answers.
Just watched that Dahm video, and at least he has someone who is a purist and can help him out. Perhaps hook him up with Abel for his motor. If that's the case it'll be done right.

I watched the recent Rob Dahm videos (hood switch and Abel Ibarra). It was a little irritating, but at least Dahm realized he needed help in the end. I hope they fix all the stuff he did wrong on the car.
