On the subject of the street diffuser, how many of you guys suffer from the gap on the driver side corner, a bit below the reverse light?

And was it easy to line up the edge of the diffuser with the edge of the mudflap so it looks like they flow on the same curve?

that's why I asked aswell . putting the mudguards on might cover up the uneven gap the diffuser haves below the driver side marker .

Yes they do. Like you said, you can't imagine why they wouldn't.

Refer to my post #23 regarding the gaps.

Gene's diffuser is also from us. No driver's side gap as far as I can tell. He most likely hand sanded it to spec. We leave a lil bit of material (so there is most likely a gap if installed as is). My diffuser has no gaps because I hand sanded it to spec. These are all coming from the same mold.

However, I do have a lil gap once the 3m double-sided tape (installed along the sides of the rear diffuser) wears off over time, but once I re-install and refreshen with new tape, it's all good again.
