Source for crowned chromed M6 Acorn nuts?

This is from my R1 throttle body. Over the years three have rolled away never to be seen again. It is easy to find chromed acorns but not with the crown.

The junkyard? You could also hit up Lowes.

I use stainless cap nuts/acorn nuts with stainless washers.

However, a little digging for flanged chrome m6 cap nut:

https://www.akr-performance.com/c/to...bles/fasteners

So I am sure there are more options out there.

I've seen them referred to as cap nuts or acorn cap nuts. I can't find any that have a flange but here are some non flanged:

Also, hardware store (ACE, OSH) have non flanged that match the thread pitch but I think use an 11mm wrench.

Thanks all.

Monkman, thanks for the terminology help. Searching for "chrome flanged cap nut M6" turned up (after very significant digging - these things really are rare):

Kawasaki 92015-1385 NUT,CAP,6MM

and

Honda 90201-415-000 NUT, CAP (6MM)

I bought the Kawasaki. It looks like chrome in the picture. We will see.

Keep us updated, I'm curious to see how they look. What was the pricing, like five bucks each?

Thanks. Unless I'm missing something, those are acorn nuts without a flange.

Thanks, those are a great source for flanged cap nuts but I think those are M8's, for the upper-to-lower and the throttle-body to upper. Also, they don't appear to be chromed.

I was looking for the M6 nuts that attach the intake pipe to the throttle body.

Looking for all of these in one nut:
M6
Acorn (a.k.a. "cap")
Chrome
Flange (a.k.a. "crown")

Will do. The ebay site I bought the Kawasaki nuts from had a bag for $2.50, and shipping of $2.50. I can't tell how many are in the bag - at least two though. So I bought two bags. They are coming from New Jersey, so maybe near you somewhere.

Seems like motorcycles are the only application where these get used even semi-regularly. Sort of makes sense.

My mistake, the $2.50 is per nut, not a bag. On the plus side, they are chromed, per this photo. Looks like a good replacement.
