Arrow SakeBomb Garage: 3.5" "Stealth" Twin-Cat with OEM Heat Shield Mounts!

We hope you all have been keeping busy in the garage during these odd times. We've both been extremely busy trying to get back to everyone's emails, questions, and fulfilling orders... why trying to take some time to tie up loose ends on projects we've had in the works for some time now! We figured it would be a good time to show you guys what we've been up to...

Introducing the SakeBomb Garage 3.5" In/Out "Stealth" Twin-Cat with OEM Heat Shield Mounts! Our goal was to create a catted mid-pipe that flowed nearly as well as a mid-pipe. Our goal was a fast light-off, long life, and ability to withstand abuse. In order to accomplish this we started by splitting the exhaust flow into two, to reduce the thermal load on each cat by 1/2. We utilized TWO 200cpi metallic-substrate cats which can take more abuse and heat than a ceramic core, and flow much better, while having double the ability to scrub exhaust. We also created a reverse-compatible flange that works with a 3" or 3.5" downpipes and mufflers (coming soon ). We have incorporated mounts to attach the OEM heat shields, for additional thermal management and a very OEM-Look . We've also included an air injection pump tube, with block off flange if your air pump has been deleted.

More details, price, and dyno results to come shortly. We will be comparing flow to the standard 3" midpipe as a benchmark.

Very similar to the Fujita Engineering dual cat, if i remember right. Very cool. I think I want one.. But, I dont know that it would allow me to still pass my inspection.
Would a comparison of performance with and without an air pump be available too? Performance in this case being how well it functions in its scrubbing duties, not whp.

That's a gorgeous piece of hardware! Nice work Sakebomb!

I agree that it would be nice to know how well it performs with an emissions test. There are a number of high flow cats out there that can reduce smell but can't pass an emissions test.

Thumbs up Very Cool!

Love it! You guys are mind readers!
I've thought about something like this before but you guys nailed it... heat shield and all.
So glad to see someone produce a dual cat system.
Here in Florida I dont need it for emissions testing just wanna cut down the stink and not hinder the flow too much.
I'm very interested.

Nice piece! Now can you re-create/replicate the OEM cat heat shields so I don't have to use the rusty ones I have?
