Hi guys, want to know if there are anywhere i can get the genuine or aftermarket recaro fabric in red(similar construction and handfeel etc) for the Spirit R as i want to reupholster the Kevlar Recaro seat i have....thanks in advance!

ESH Upholstery is the place many folks here send their seats in to get reupholstered. Of course that's a bit far if you are in the UK

ESH uses fabric thats different from OEM recaro fabrics though...They look nice but they are hardly similar other than color.

Yes my first choice would be original fabric or at least very similar......

I am having my upholstery shop look for the same thing...fabric as closely matched to spirit R seats as possible. I will let you know if I find some.

And the reason for this....
The Recaro fabric is garbage for what it costs, fades quickly, wears easily, and tears easily.

What ESH uses is not the same, it is an upgrade.

Understood. However, my goal is to rewrap some interior panels to match the seats. I am not planning to rewrap the seats anytime soon so the most cost effective way is the find fabric that match.

I believe the fabric is standard Recaro red velour fabric. I saw a few companies online is selling after market one....anyone tried it before?
