Thanks for sharing that! Definitely a weird mix of stuff. It's a hybrid of 1st gen and FC. Wonder if it was for a propane generator or some other purpose?

Yea I thought it was pretty cool and worth sharing. First thing I thought was a generator. Be curious to see what Mazda intended for these.

It might have even been for normal car use, Mazda did lots of experimentation with hydrogen powered rotaries. IIRC, they had a small fleet of hydrogen powered RX8's that the Japanese gov't was testing/evaluating. So a natural gas or propane powered version would make sense as an R&D progression to hydrogen fuel.
