I liked the sort-of rotor shaped (if you squint) center of the Momo Millennium EVO wheel.

Those Nardi deep corn are nice

I'm a fan of the OEM Nardi for matching stock interior.

I have still been debating if I want one of your wheels or not. With me being 6'0" I'm more worried about knee clearance. Heel/toe driving with the stock one sucks. I hit the steering wheel and my seat is all the way back and reclined some also! So I don't know if those oem nardi wheels are small enough. If you were closer I would love to see one installed and feel it out! I also dont want to go too small either.

What's the story on the steering wheels with the little rectangle Nardi logo in the middle of the wheel (as compared to the flying M)? Were they OEM on certain years or did the wheels come off something else?

They just have different airbag logo, Nardi instead of Mazda. The earlier wheel without the ND logo came with the Nardi airbag, then the later year wheel with the ND logo came with the M airbag.

They showed up in 99-2000.

After which they changed to the flying M with the small Nardi symbol at the bottom of the wheel.

Then they fully went to just the flying M in the middle of the wheel for the last years of the car 2001-2002

This same Nardi wheel was offered on the Miata around the same time period.

^Same here...I've got efini badges outside and really didn't want the "flyin' M". ZE hooked me up and even came with pnp CC buttons. I wish I'd done this years ago.

Here is my car with the 320mm Momo that the car had when I bought it. please excuse how dirty the car is and the fact that I don't have my gauge pod setup yet.

as you can see it also blocks my view pretty well, this is approximately my driving view.

I've recently hopped in a friends FD with the stock 370mm or 380mm wheel (edit: just measured and it seems to be just below 380mm). Both our cars have a depowered manual rack, I obviously knew there would be a difference but wow its quite a larger difference than I thought. Quite a bit easier at slow speeds than mine, I also imagine it will make rapid counter steering when the back kicks out on the track alot easier.
So now I'm thinking about a bigger wheel. I'm a bigger boy at about 6'1" so knee clearance will be reduced, I'm thinking about a quick release to push the steering wheel a little closer to me for clearance and for another toy to play with. It would also be nice to see the gauges for once.

everyone seems to go for 350mm wheels around here, is the stock wheel really that large? I may have to play around with my friends car a little more to get a feeling for it myself before I decide on a size.
Edit:after sitting in his car again the 380mm wheel would definitely interfere with footwork on the track as it interferes with my knee while heel toeing He does have a bride drivers seat so that might not mean alot. a quick release or even just a spacer might help with this but its hard to say. something like a 360mm or 365mm would be nice, I don't know if anyone makes anything like that though, time to start researching wheels and quick release suppliers

I've just bought a new Momo wheel for mine- the USPS tracking (it came from the 'States as none were available in Australia) says its about 2 days away from being delivered.

I'll post some pics here when it arrives. I've only been waiting about a month for it.....

This was a Spirit R steering wheel I put in my old FD. I just bought a Mazdaspeed Miata wheel for half the cost that's basically the same wheel for my current FD. Here is the Spirit R wheel.

Nardi makes Personal, but they're distinctly separate brands--- like Honda and Acura.

I have a Personal Neo Grinta in my FC vert that's pretty nice.
