Your setup looks great! Can you tell me what the part number was for the Works Bell Hub and where you sourced it please? It looks like some are using a Miata version.

Actually, if there is a WB hub adapter that is taller than the one you have I'd go that route to add a little length along with the NRG quick release. I take it you simply added the quick release on to the Works Bell hub?

Thanks for the help. I can't wait to get the stock wheel off my FD. I have a wheel for my Rx8 waiting for the Daikei hub.

Sorry no pic's but I installed a

Sparco Model 383 suede 330 mm dia. on Momo 5705 RX-7 hub
mod'd hub for airbag/horn wiring w/ mod cut out 1.125 x 0.25
Mazdaspeed horn button.

Steering wheel perfect size and feel for handling, good for leg clearance, little small with regards to blocking gauges but not bad, little too close to stalks maybe 1/4 inch too close.

Installed airbag bypass using 3 10 ohm (in parallel) resitors to get 10 ohms, installed in under dash airbag plug.

Still looking for bolt on QR/hub setup, maybe Bell Works, issue is a compact hub/QR comb.

Thanks, you can get the normal WB hub which is taller and also clears the center nut. The one I'm using is the Short Boss version, and with the QR, I have to take my hand off the wheel to do the turn signals now. On the plus side, it does feel a lot nicer closer to you

Try contacting a specialty parts shop, I got mine from Aspec parts down in SoCal, they're one of the suppliers for WB. Give them a call or an email and they should source out the part for you

NRG makes a short style Quick release, it's about half the thickness of a regular QR. Only thing is, it doesn't have ball bearings like the normal ones and uses a type of locking mechanism instead, still works though

Thanks! I think the horn works but don't know for sure since the motor and wiring is out of the car since and LSx is going into it.

After I removed the clock spring I wired up the horn, put a resistor for the airbag and wired up the cruise control (still not sure where I will mount the controls).

I should know if everything works in a couple of months when all the work is done.

How much are these wheels with the quick release hubs? Do the hubs come with wiring to deactivate the airbag light? Looking to do this soon. Thx.
