OEM Parts Sales

This topic spans generations but the FD forum is the only forum I frequent so asking here. Are there any known Mazda dealerships that have recurring sales on OEM parts? I'm thinking especially around the upcoming holidays; like, Black Friday or Cyber Monday extra xx% off. Dealerships for some other brands do this but I've never looked into Mazda dealers.

My "guess" is that there are NONE.....suspect Ray Crowe has already scooped any FD parts they had.

Called Mazdacomp a couple times this afternoon and they were busy or at lunch because it went straight to a robomessage. They used to restrict the types of parts to drivetrain only; no interior parts or something similar. Is that still a thing? This is/was different than the competition parts/OEM distinction.

I believe the interior parts require higher level account, not one you can get by just a day of autox.

if you read the info on the website they have 4 levels
1. you can buy competition parts only, anyone is eligible
2. you can buy any part for your car, but you need to be building or have competition results from a competition. you need only 1 a year now. the bar is lower than its ever been
3. there is one for a shop, and i'm not sure what that is, doesn't apply
4. Jim Downing, also doesn't apply to us. he ordered a tail light for his 110 Cosmo, and got one.

there isn't really any reason to call unless you want the "this is a pretty normal hour for business" punchline...

j9 I know you're the parts guru but MM used to make a distinction between parts to keep your car running (or drivetrain parts or something along those lines) and interior parts (or nice to haves) to keep some parts business with dealers. That was per MM, directly, some years ago and the reason for calling; to confirm if that policy is still in place. If you have a link that says 'any part' I'm all ears and eyes. The only semi-specific language I found is 'Mazda-approved stock parts.' https://www.mazdamotorsports.com/get...am-membership/

In any case, if there is a dealership parts department that offers discounts on the regular or has holiday sales, post 'em up.
