New idea for jacking up lowered cars/cars difficult to raise with a floor jack

Found this on another forum:

https://safejacks.com/products/the-r...d-by-safe-jack

Each pair is $249, a little pricey but this looks like an option for lowered cars. My car is too low in front to get a jack underneath and operate it without first jacking up one side and putting a 2x4 under one wheel, or driving it up on ramps first. With a pair of floor jacks and these stands, a lowered car could be safely lifted from each end without the hassle of spacing the car up first.

The Quickjack is another good option, but more expensive and it blocks access from the sides of the car.

I jack my car from the side anyway.. near the mirror, and then put two jack stands in, and jack the other side.

Try these.

Plastic Low Profile Car Service Ramps - 4,400 lb Capacity | Discount Ramps

My car is always parked on them, Like a rally car pit stop.

Low profile, easy to slip standard size jack under car.

Yep, do this. Look up Protech pinch weld jack pads so you don't jack up your pinch welds.

Site doesn't work. Wonder if they're in business still.

I had some 1" box-section tubing welded in on the jack stand points, and wish i'd had it done in the center where the jack goes... but just slide a foot-long piece of 2x4 behind the pinch weld... you can also push it further in to the frame rail.

Good idea with the plastic ramps! In my case, I have a few cars that have issues with conventional jacking under the front crossmember or rear diff, or side to side, so I am looking at some different solutions. Just about decided to pick up a Quickjack, but now I'm thinking about the Safejack system.

I have a set of the Quickjacks. They definitely beat dealing with a standard jack and jack stands

Which version do you have? Have you experienced any issues? I am looking at the BL-5000EXT since I have a larger car that will need it in addition to the FD. By my measurements, there is just enough distance between the FD's tires for the -EXT to function.

I'm in the same boat--been considering quickjack, and was all set to buy the 3500 when they jacked the price up (technically it had been on sale for a long time.)

Now I'm also eyeing the safe jack Rennstand. It's ten times the cost of a jackstand, but looks to be more stable and I like being able to jack up the car without having to ram a jack all the way under the car from the front.

But I don't want to be an early adopter of the Rennstand. I've seen three different revisions of the product over the last year and little to know user reviews.

bummer, cause I use that thing every time I work on the car. Looks like there are some other similar designs out there though.
