Metal shavings in pulleys and belt

Hi! After my last ride I found metal shavings inside the pulleys and they're cracking into the belts. I don't know where they come from. Is it possible to be a worn out bearing of the pulley of the power steering or the air conditioner?
Further there spread out black grease in the area of the turbo elbow and I'm sure it was clean before. Could it be from the bearings?
Now the car stays in the garage again. My plan is to change the belts and when I'm already on it, the water pump, too.
Does it make sense to change the pulleys as well? I don't find any in Germany and it seems that Mazda is not producing all of them anymore. I've only found a set in the US by Banzai Racing. They come without bearings, so can I change them? I think they're pressed in.

That is interesting.... the bearing in the ac/ps tensioner can be replaced on its own or you can buy the whole assembly from Mazda. Amayama.com is a great resource. The ps pump has a bearing as well but considering what you have going on, it's probably unrelated.

The pulley kit from banzai is a different size from stock which isn't a problem but keep this in mind. It wouldn't hurt to replace all the pulleys for fun although it seems yours are pretty worn and pitted.

Thank you for the hint about the pulleys! I want to use OEM belts, so I'll keep the pulleys for now or is it still possible, if you stretch them stiffer? The bearings are all good. I disassembled everything today and it looks pretty okay-ish.
The alternator belt is in a great shape. The one for the power steering is really stiff, but not worn out.
I found the metal shavings everywhere and the hugest amount was in the area of the water pump. I could spin the pulley with one hand, but this one has the highest resistance. Is that normal?
So for first I'll order belts, water pump and the two idle pulleys (is this the right word?).

And here you find two videos, where you can check how they spin: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...ww?usp=sharing

That power steering tensioner, unless it's rubbing on the rag, should free spin.

The lip direction is correct? Seems Mazda did change it to cause confusion at one stage.....and then reversed it.

The pulleys look reasonable to me. The turbo inlet elbow grime, could be oil leaking out of the primary or nylon injector lines going hard and breaking perhaps......some dissassembly required to check.

I had the same issue; my metal shavings were coming from behind the cover that goes over the power steering adjuster pulley.

I had my air conditioner compressor pulley do that after the bolt that holds it on seemingly broke and then fell off. It put this black dust everywhere which I think came from the clutch mechanism that is on it. I know it isn't quite the same thing you're dealing with, but I figured it might be of some help.
