Hey, you can add me to the list. I was the one to pick up tt7hvn's CYM, now has about 87k miles.

 

David Wong sold the CYM to someone in PA. Doubt the new owner is on the club, but I am related to David and can vouch. Putting the 3 rotor in a different body.

 

I sold it to a forum member, but they haven't been on here in a year and a half. I don't want to "out" him without his permission.

At the time the member already had a CYM and was adding mine to the collection. There were hints his other one wasn't as perfect as mine so he may have sold it since.

I miss my CYM. Almost as much as I miss my old cop-car Caprice.

I know that there are at least three other "real" CYMs in my area, but I've only met one of them.

 

Here is an update in ownership. I purchased what I am positive is CYM TKT's RX7 from Allrotor93 after he replaced the engine and transmission. It now has approx. 105k on the odometer.

I recently went on a hunt given some info from a fellow FD owner and found not one, but two, CYMs rotting away in a guy's driveway and garage. Really damn sad. He wouldn't sell, I wish I had thought to get the VIN numbers. One at least is way too far gone to be saved IMO.

On a positive note, I little birdy told me there's a base CYM headed to southern NJ from the great white north, and I also just may be joining the club as well sometime soon

Hey man, hope to see you around. I'm down in Stafford, and early in September, I pulled my car out of long-term storage in Wisconsin. After years of waiting, I finally got it to the Elite Rotary Shop in Des Plaines, IL, for some extensive work. Howard Coleman has the engine apart as I write this, and I'm super-excited about the result. Not sure we'll have it on the road back here in Virginia before harsher weather, but I am already looking forward to the springtime!
