LHD Driver's Side Rear Caliper slide bolt thread pitch

After removing my driver's side rear caliper bolt/slide pins to replace brakes and rotors, I go to put back together and the bolt/pins won't thread in, of course I remove the entire caliper and see the threads on the lower caliper bolt hole are crushed. I thought at first it was build up so tried to clean with brake clean and scribes then wire brushes. Nothing working, going to have to rethread or replace. After searching briefly they're not many options out there. Going to attempt the rethreading idea with my tap/die set. Although I need to know what thread this bolt/slide is. Unless someone has an affordable caliper for LHD D/S REAR I could purchase. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Go to home depot and try using their metric bolts for testing.

Even better as you will need them in the future: go buy a set of metric tap and die set.
I got mine years ago from a Sears tool store.

I had something similar happen. When I pulled the guide pins out, the threads came out with one of them. “G” bolt I believe. It’s a weird one, M14-1.25. You can try to chase that, but it may not work out. If it doesn’t, don’t chance it. Buy the thread repair kit and put the helicoil in there. Not worth having that come loose and jam up.

*** Fixed threads by slowly running bolt/slid backwards through hole while using drilling oil, one turn at a time in and out until all the way through. Then turned bolt/slide through proper direction did the same one thread at a time. And the bolt/slide recut the threads in the cast iron.**

I also agree that it's a 14x1.25 diameter & thread pitch..

It's a common spark plug thread chaser size. I used one from local parts store to repair mine
