So, I bought this ages ago and am only finally getting around to putting it in. The large OEM plastic pin slides through the hole in the pedal to secure it to the mounting bracket, but did anybody else have trouble inserting the pin through their Levy pedal? My pedal has a weld-wart/bump inside, which I presume it there to provide ample tension on the pin, but it is preventing me from inserting the pin at all. Did anybody else come across this issue and did you simply grind the bump down with a dremel?
Like-wise...no issue like that on mine. A file should be fine.
I did put a little angle on the arm to match the OEM arm (difference visible in your first pic) and so it would hang “straight” and a little farther away from the tunnel. Used a bench vise and dead-blow...didn’t take much. Took a about 20 minutes to r and r. Been flawless since.
