Leaking ABS pump

Hi all,

My ABS pump has been leaking slowly for a few years and seems to be getting worse based on the small puddle on the garage floor I found when waking the FD from its winter nap a few days ago. It’s time to address the issue, but how? I’ve read about the delete kits but I’d really rather not go that route. My car is pretty much stock (I’m the original owner) and lightly driven these days so I’d rather retain the unit.

Does anyone know of a rebuild kit or someone who does rebuilds? I’d also be interested in buying a used pump if anyone has one they’d be willing to sell, assuming it’s in working order.

I'm not aware of anyone who does ABS rebuilds or produces rebuild kits, but from this thread it appears that a DIY rebuild is quite feasible if you can source all of the required seals.

I just rebuilt mine a couple weeks ago. It is at thr end of my build thread:

Rebuild kits are on eBay:

And you can buy decent-looking ones used on eBay for $250-400, but a bit of a roll of the dice on whether they will leak or not and when.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Happy to report I've taken everyone's advice! I purchased the used pump that Jim had up for sale and also ordered a set of the o-rings from the ebay seller for a future rebuild, so all bases are covered.

Thanks again for the help.
