JDM magic beanz – RX-7, Acura NSX, and Toyota Supra
A nice comparison between some modified classics:
Does it smell like gasoline in here? Makes me want to pick up a spare 13B-REW before they are all trashed:

First video was really cool. Neat to see a good, objective appraisal. That Supra was bad-***, for sure.
I think in this vein we have to include the 3000GT VR-4 and the 300 ZX TT, as the 'all-conquering Japanese' cars of the time.

For those with the means (and are crazy enough, lol), picking up a spare engine or, hell, a spare nice stockish FD makes a lot of sense. Demand continues to rise, and the supply is drying up

Yes, and I wonder if anyone other than Mazda will start manufacturing core parts like the irons and rotors. It's old technology at this point, so the main challenge would be whether the project is economically feasible (i.e., getting a license from Mazda and the various business/manufacturing stuff).
And yes, I'd love to see more "formal" comparison or retrospective videos on the lesser-known cars. There's plenty of exhaust noise, and takeoff videos, but high-quality long-form videos are rarer. I love the stuff Petrolicious does, for example, but sometimes I want a more technical brief too, with track work and in-depth mechanical info. Motor Trend has been doing a good job with their online videos.

Agreed. I only tagged it on because I thought some of the cars in the video might belong to forum members who could discuss their builds.

Maybe it will go into a video later or another one will... there are enough clean RX-7s out there that it seems inevitable.
