I say no higher than 35k. FL car equals issues staring with melted front bumper and dried out damaged drivers side seat bolster etc.... AND for the love of God please put a battery tie down on this car that hasn't been driven for over 3 years.

Sorry about that. I noticed that it went from an opening bid of $6,000 to $15,000 in an hour or two. Typically, there's a flurry of bidding early on, then things slow down and a flurry of bidding at the end.

Yep I suspect the reserve is over 40k as well. This seller has a nice CW 94 PEG with 12k miles that IMO is worth 40k (asking 45k) if clean, good rubber, everything working etc....

So, while I don't understand it, a guy on BAT says its overpriced when the bid was $18,000 and then he bids $28,000. So, with 6 days to go, this one's looking like it could bring some dollars.

He's seen the car listed for months on autotrader and ebay at 40k plus (understands the reserve is equally stupid). That's what he means by over priced. He doesn't think 28k is overpriced. That's about the good deal price. I expect this auction to end shy of 35k but who knows.

Fritz. I agree. That's what the guy was doing and his this is over-priced comments may in fact dampen the bidding and prove him right. However, another guy bid it up to $29,000 already.

I expect it to go to low 30s and chill until the last few hours like the rest of the low mileage FDs listed there.

If they decide to list the 94 CW that car might actually go for 40k and up which will really set a new standard . Again I don't see this car going for over mid 30s. Personally I wouldn't pay high twenties. I'd buy the CW at 40k 1st.

Another important thing to note is the 5 percent commission or in other words this car is already at 30,500 and the auction is just getting started. ANYONE who doesn't think the prices of this car/FDs will go higher are clueless. NOW is the time to buy!!!

Being that this car is already at $29K with 5 days to go has me somewhat concerned about what's driving the early high bidding. Are these just friends of the bidder hoping to pump it up, but not be left holding the bag at the end? I ask myself, "is this one that much nicer than other FDs listed previously" and my answer is not really. Is it a clean car, YES. Does it have very low mileage, YES. IMO, it's a $28K to $32K car, maybe $35K on a good day, but my opinions are on Spring 2017 pricing activity. Again, JMO!

Yep and today is the best day to sell because I don't see prices going down anytime soon if ever which is why it will likely go all the way to 35k. I don't think it will sell though because I expect the reserve is 40k. The dealer would rather hold and sell next year for 40.

I'll repeat I see more low mileage cars currently listed than I have ever seen. Even back in 2000 when PFS had 1 or 2 listed. Along with maybe 3 everywhere else. This one dealer has 3 or more and they've been sitting for 6 months or more. That's 110k or more in FDs just sitting on his lot. From a business stand point it makes zero sense to me. Biggest mistake a car dealer can make is not dealing or sitting on inventory. Take 110, go to auction buy some cars make 15k etc...etc...

Fritz... His strategy is kind of interesting. Maybe. Let's say he could easily sell for $32,000 today and has 2 more just like this one for the sake of argument. If he sells this one for $32,000, he has 2 more worth at least the same, or a total of $96,000. If he holds out a few months and gets $40,000 for this one, he has 2 more now worth $40,00 or more each. That's $120,000 and $24,000 more than the first scenario. I'd wait a few months to try to pull that off, I suspect.
