so my fd came with a bunch of gauges from japan and I dont know anything about them, I always like to start by knowing the part number or model of things so I can move on from there

Those are the old 60mm GReddy gauges from the early-2000's. I still have one in my garage, silver face w/orange illumination. EGT.
I don't think I have a manual, and details are hard to find online. The harness should be the same for all the data link units. I found the one attached here for the temp gauge.
BTW, they were great gauges for the time. Stepper motors, digital. Not cheap.
Those are REALLY nice gauges, they look super clean, have quality sensors and hardware, and are super accurate and reliable. It's a LOT of gauges, though .
They have adjustable peak hold/warning which is super nice too.
