Good bolt in “stock radiator?”
Good bolt in “stock radiator?”
So I’m looking to replace my radiator, a big chunk of plastic is missing from the neck and idk if it was recent or has been like that because it’s only noticeable when you take the hose off. However it does not leak. But I just think it would be best to replace the whole thing to be safe, but was wondering what would be best? I don’t want to spend 600$ On a new one and the car doesn’t run hotter than expected, so I guess my question is, what’s a good radiator to get where I won’t have to make any modifications and it won’t break the bank? (I have a stock set up) thanks for any help!
PM sent, I just didn’t know how close the prices were to an OEM one compared to an aluminum one, and figured if they were close, might as well upgrade
Tons of threads on this. Stay with proven brands...KOYO or Fluidyne….or a new stock one. Cooling is so critical you don't want to go cheap. I think the only thing wrong with the stock radiator on a stock car was the plastic aging. Fin density was really good and you can't get better fitment. And your stock one lasted 25+ years.
