Glovebox damper?
Hey guys,
been searching and trying to find the replacement part for this but I keep coming up empty. Has anyone ever attempted to replace this item? I think mine gave up a few years back. Was working like a charm for almost 2 decades, but now it just falls flat.
I recently had to replace the damper in the 8. They almost look the same but I don’t want to jump to conclusions.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

FD15-64-08XB is the part number and its NLA in the US. its like the 4th most reliable part of the car, first time i've looked one up was today...
i'm not sure how the same they are but the Rx8 damper comes apart, and its just friction, or maybe air, its super simple.
also possible that this is something that could be 3d printed (the Rx8 could be)
