FWIW: Use vice to remove and press in pillow ball bushing.
I did the top with a sockets and wrenches crushing 100s of washers and breaking bolts along the way.. BUT i took the lower arm out and was very successful with a using a vice. It worked like a charm and took me minutes to do.. see pic. Also for the spacer I had success with a c-clamp... see pic.
Just thought I would share for those looking for ways to do it without a hydraulic press.
I've always used the Harbor Freight ball joint press tool. A vice will work but the HF tool really makes it easy. Also you can use an impact gun to run it in and out and it makes for a quick job.
I always remove the arms and do it off the car, there's no reason to do it on the car. The arms all come off very easily.
Biggie is the SNAP RINGS - if you forget about the snap rings (either removing them before trying to press it out or not re-installing them) you'll have a bad day.

haha.. i second this!! I tried to press one out with the snap ring still in place.. you know how that went! that said, it did not damage anything as i realized it quickly enough. got lucky.
Yup! I read that before doing it. Very good. I was just trying to show a couple more ways to do it other than the bolt and washers. Figured it may help someone - hopefully.
