Looks good

I wonder if it has a function. Let us know if you do trackdays and if so does this item help with the performance. I just want to know if it's just a cosmetic feature.

Did anyone here in the states every get one of these?

Everything seemed to dry up the moment it was available for sale!

Any impressions?

I did, actually. Fast shipping, great communication/support. First concerns were that it was going to turn the car into a rattle trap, that was not the case. It doesn't seem to be collecting too much debris. The rear panel did not line up with my ganador ti exhaust, so scratch that one off the list. I also needed to cut a little bit to fit my downpipe. Install was pretty straight forward, you need a two post lift to do it. You only drill 8 holes into your actual car total (which is not bad!) There is quite a bit of prep work before you start. (like 80 rivnuts that need to be installed), also some angled aluminum pieces that get riveted on the main center piece to add support. I had to order my naca duct from the UK because that was the only one I knew would fit. You want to make a little heat shield for it, or it might melt. I have yet to decide what the best way is to bend the louvers, they come unbent. I haven't sealed off the floor completely (there is a gap between my front splitter and the floor) but once I do, I will need to figure out the best way to angle those for air flow/cooling to the trans/diff.

I've taken the main center panel off 3 or 4 times since install in my garage, just driving up on my race ramps. It is not that bad, but obviously going to add a step if you ever want to work underneath there.

Overall: very happy with the purchase, great price, great support. unsure of performance gains just yet, as I still have the gap between front splitter and the floor. I am definitely faster at my home tracks, but that could be attributed to many different things. I hope to have temp sensors in my diff and trans before next season.

(hope my jumbled thoughts help)

on one of the rx7 facebook groups there was a post with pics by someone who bought this and they said the fit and finish was nice. They however wished they got it without the exhaust cutout as the cutout did not match their non-oem exhaust and had to cut away for it anyway and thusly it is not contoured as much as it could be. I personally would buy this if my car ran

It'd be nice to see it with a RE-A street diffuser
