I’m slowly getting things together. Hopefully be able to install them this season but more than likely next. More so the suspension. It’s extremely mint but I have no idea how things are with it considering it’s about 2 decades old. I’m definitely getting them rebuilt. The bumper though I hope to get installed later this season.

Man I saw the Mazdaspeed suspension on YAJ and was so curious. They look awesome.

Yep, it’s one of those things that rarely come up. When they do it’s either pounce or get left behind. I think there were 58-60 bids by the end of it. It was not easy but I managed to obtain it at the last possible second.
It’s as if they test fitted the pieces but never ran it on the car? There’s little to no wear on all the pieces. I was tempted to just install them, but knowing my luck, one of them would be blown. Lol. I doubt it since all the writing and the stickers are completely intact. Better to play it safe though and get them properly tested if not rebuilt.

I picked up that coin tray a few years ago myself. Paid quite a bit for it considering what it is haha, but I was on a rare parts hunt at the time.

Shout out to whoever just scored the 18" MS-01's. I've heard of these, but I don't remember ever seeing a set of 18's at auction. Seems like a good deal too. Not my style, or I would've been a bidder.

it has been a long sought after part I’ve been trying to get ahold of. Thankfully a forum member helped me out. Was a great conversation and we worked it out.
I only use authentic parts. No reps.

They are in Japan, and going on a Eunos Cosmo!

Interesting that they used 700lb-in springs front and rear.

Who build them for MS originally?

I couldn’t tell you. I tried to find more hidden writing on them but they literally just have whatever the stickers say. No other etching anywhere on them…
I’ll ask some of the Mazda people and see if they know. Majority of the people I know though have retired. So the mystery might never be solved.

89 RX7 convertible

Evidently a power window regulator for the driver’s side of a1989 RX7 convertible is pretty rare as I can’t find one anywhere. The company says they haven’t stopped making them just on back order with no release date. Anyone have an extra?

@Neo Woah! Awesome you scored yourself the Rspec! Did you happen to get the undertray as well? And I remember those coilovers in the parts catalog. Seriously look brand spanking new, can't wait to hear your impressions after the rebuilt. Happy for you and in all honesty, a bit jealous

yeah, I couldn’t believe the shape they’re in as well. As if they test fitted the parts, ran it for maybe 200km’s, and then took them out to store them?? I know it’s tough to tell from the pics, but they’re seriously mint.

yes, as a matter of fact, I lucked out on the whole Rspec front end. The undertray was also part of the deal. Truly fortunate.

with any luck, I should get them back from my paint guy this week. He sent me progress pics 2 fridays ago now. So yeah, I should be getting a call sometime this week.

I got all the original parts bagged up. Just have them stripped down for fiberglass and paint work.

Actually, I'm having the original assorted brackets reproduced if anyone need some...

Some other folks are reproducing lenses. I got a set on order and will post up a review. The fog lights are also a very specific pain in the butt, if they're damaged or missing. Been trying to catalogue and restore and source all the hardware.

Pressure plates can be rebuilt with new springs, generally speaking. I haven't done so on this one tho so not 100% sure
