I Have bought my fd with this red/pink gauge cluster and since it has no obvious branding I took it apart and saw the markings like on a oem black one.
My question is that, was fds ever sold like this? Could not find any info on the webs. Or is it worth something extra maybe or is it just some copy with a different color?

It's not a cluster that's particularly known, like a Knightsports or Mazdaspeed one. It could just be gauge faces on a stock cluster.

It also looks like the cluster was originally for an automatic car.

It's definitely JDM since it has the oil pressure and speedo in metric.

Many JDM clusters were upgraded or swapped since they only went to 180 km/h, many aftermarket ones went to 300 km/h like this one.

Also the tach was increased to 10k RPM, that's nothing particularly useful but it's neat.

FIrst I thought thst it must be some tuner brand or something somolar however upon pulling it apart I found the branding and other numbers to be exactly like on the oem black ones.
That is why I am wondering if it could maybe be some limited edition version from mazda.
