Mostly the 'Ring is operated as an unrestricted toll road, so for all intents and purposes its just a normal road with no speed limits.

 

He did but he got a new one

NBR is deadly even if you know what you're doing.

 

There are a couple of spots where I kind of held my breath watching (he did mention it was his third lap that day)... his mod list isn't that far off from mine, although I've kept my twin turbos.

I doubt I'd be driving anywhere near as aggressively without days of practice.
