Contents of FD Tool Tray
Thanks a lot. Well, I guess maybe I'm not missing anything then. Got the jack, handle, and chock mounted in the right, and lug wrench and screw on the left. Still a couple open slots on the left, but OK! Thanks again.

OK then, feellin' pretty good! I have a similar OE plug wrench from my old '83 Land Cruiser FJ60. Assuming the far left slot in the lower tray is the rod for the plug wrench, or something else?
Just making conversation, I know this isn't a critical item. Thanks again.

I've seen that. They made the top tray. They make great stuff, and I like what they made, but I'd prefer to get a whole stock kit if possible. I reached a point a few years ago where I wanted to get all the stock option stuff I could get my hands on, and clearly that hasn't left. I have thought about doing a complete custom set though, basically what JP3 did for the top tray but do it for both, that way I could customize it with tools I would use.
I used to keep the hatch full of tools to where I could possibly do a rebuild on the side of the road.

I think those 2 spots were for a sheet metal plug socket and a rod that went into it to turn it. I think that was only on the Japanese cars. Don't know how useful that would be in real life.
