I would call Ray Crowe LONG before resorting to an ebay purchase. If they're available new than Ray can get them, chances are he'll have a better price too.

So much of RX7 stuff posted on ebay is priced outrageously these days.

Lets hope Ray Crowe indeed has!

Or even the dealer.

Makes sense - so that "plug" is actually part of the diaphragm pushed into that hole from the inside before assembly.

So a worn off plug might not mean the diaphragm has failed, but probably is a good indicator the part should be changed out?

If it's like I said, then the condition of the visible tip would, IMO, not be important. It's the diaphragm itself that could cause an issue, but that is not exposed, so its condition could still be OK. Probably no way to know w/o destroying the unit.

Yes! We like rotaries 👍

Hope to post an update soon. In the meantime, has anyone had any experience with this? I’ve called around to a few part sellers and they have no idea what’s in it. Also, if anyone knows how to find out what is in the kit and if it is compatible with our cars I can look it up myself and post.Hose Kit Fuel - Mazda (1F71-13-421)

Not sure what that is, it doesn't seem to be an RX-7 part. Where did you get that part number?

Also it's no use ordering parts or doing anything until you know where the leak is.

that fits a 2001-2008 Mazda B3000 pickup or Ford Ranger 3.0

1F71-13-421 = 4L5Z-9J338-AA

the FD fuel hose kit was N3A1-13-S70A, and the throttle body water hoses were N3A1-13-S60, but the kits are NLA, so you just buy everything separate
happy to list the stuff if needed

N3A1-13-681A
N3A1-13-691A
N3A1-13-692A
and the clamps for 6, 9928-61-400P.

the fuel hose kit N3A1-13-S70A came with the
Upper Intake Gasket N3A1-13-112
Throttle Body Gasket N3A1-13-655
ACV gasket N3A3-13-996
it came with the fuel pipe to injector rail feed hose N3D8-13-415
the return 9935-90-814
and then the hose between the rails was changed, N3D8-13-420
the clamps were replaced, and the pressure line gets double clamped, so you need 6, 8574-13-157
then there is a protector on each hose N326-13-428A
the lower fuel rail grommet N3A1-13-257 for two

and i think that is it.

the fuel recall was to change the hose between the fuel rails from a normal push on hose to the swaged style. they also had you replace and double clamp all the other fuel lines under the intake.

I think the material the fuel hose was made from was upgraded as well to be more heat tolerant.

Yeah I remember pricing it once, it was STUPID expensive. The good thing is it can be re-used many times.

Or find some good metric fuel injection hose.

Surprising how many folk go looking for parts without first asking their local dealer.

I understand some dealers don't even want to try these days and that the supply chain from Japan seems stretched.

But if everyone channels their first enquiry through RC, then I can imagine he gets bogged down.

Certainly there has been increased demand as folk bring their cars out of storage in response to increased values.

My most local dealer, Martin Mazda, is only 10 minutes away but they are useless when it comes to ordering anything RX7 related - they waste my time, don't want to be bothered, and their pricing is stupid expensive. I'm lucky though because the dealership that Ray is associated with, Nucar Mazda, is also relatively local to me - just a 25 minute drive away in New Castle, DE. So when I order from Ray, he can set up my order to "call for pickup", which means they call me when the parts arrive, I pick them up and don't have to pay shipping. No tax either, because DE doesn't charge sales tax. And if the part is in stock, I usually get it the same day.

I am surprised in this day of AI, that they can't run a reverse enquiry and come up with a list of all the FD3S parts they still have.

As it is now, it seems its hunt and peck and wait weeks to learn the part is NLA.

yeah, but its not public. the Mazda motorsports site used to have access to the same thing, although i don't see it anymore (and its clunky, wow)
https://www.amayama.com/en?v=1 works for a part that would be available in Japan. so engine yes, LHD steering rack no
