You can get new upgraded starters from Japan made by Advance, RHDJapan sells them. That would probably be your best option as you are in Korea.

Besides basic availability, it is also more powerful so the motor turns over more quickly which is an added benefit.

If you have your old starter you can get a new RX-8 starter and swap the nose to reuse.

 

93-95 Rx7 Manual Starter (N3A1-18-400R-00)

JP3 and Banzai are the way to go

 

I'm using a cheap 2.2k high torque starter purchased from ebay. It's crazy powerful!! Works fantastic.

 

Thanks! I bought both 1.3K and 2.0K. will have test 1.3K also, cheap one from ali. 50USD.
BTW I may use 2.0K for my own.
