TX 93 Automatic inner firewall in a manual swap ?

Hey guys
I am trying to help a friend with a project. I am hoping someone can tell me what the difference is between a manual and automatic transmission inner fire wall harness is (the one that s behind the dash) and what needs to be done to pair up?
hes car is a 93 manual trans with all original manual harness and we are trying to pair up with auto trans inner fire wall harness

The auto dash (I am assuming that is what you are referring to) does not have a connection for the clutch safety switch that is bolted to the clutch pedal assembly as it would be on a manual car. I also believe that there are more connectors that go to the dash for things like the hold light that came on automatic cars. I know that there is more, but when I converted my car to manual, I was working with a manual engine and emission harness and also an automatic dash, battery, and front ring harness so I had to have a connector that connects the engine harness and the dash harness repinned.

I haven't gotten around to pulling my dash yet, and have yet to pull the dash on a factory manual, so that is the extent of my expertise here.

I would look at the threads on converting an automatic car to a manual, it's pretty well documented and what they went through is similar to what you are trying to do.

thanks for the reply to my question. I'm taking about the one that pairs up to main wire harness in front end of the car that feeds the powe to the electrical system ,like lights etc. anyway this one is located behind the dash ,in the fire wall, lbehind the heater cores etc..
thank you

I did look at that earlier but didn't see the actual difference other than the cluth safety system.
Thank you!
