1994 Fuel tank

Just bought a 94 FD. The fuel tank needs to be replaced. Atkins rotary has the 1993 fuel tank in stock. Other than the baffles on the inside are there any other differences between the 93 and 94 tanks? Haven't been able to find a source for the 94 ones.

93-94 fuel tanks pull up the same part number and lists for $889.45, online discounted price of $601.59: F111-42-110A.

95 fuel tank part number is different and lists for $824.16, online discounted price of $562.38: F124-42-110A

Interesting spreadsheet, it appears the main difference is 93-94 manuals share the same tank and have a drain plug, while 95-02 are the same tank without a drain plug.

Also, at some point the JDM FD's had a fuel tank baffle, PN FD0142159.

the F124 tank will be able to use, or might come with the baffle, FD01-42-159. the F111 tanks is for a non baffled car, and it may or may not be able to use it

the FD01-42-159 baffle is frighteningly expensive

Yes, and would seem easy enough to replicate from the aftermarket, though 3D printing or low production quantities may not justify the effort.

In this case, the Hyperion/Garage Alpha reproduction baffle cover is a good option:

You are welcome. Replacing due to internal rust from car sitting?
