there's still some clean low miles cars out there
bumped into this older guy (50s) with a SUPER clean '93 VR R1, about 30k miles...told me he has like eight other cars and only drives it occasionally....he is the original owner.....car was bone stock....he was compeltely clueless about any of the realibility issues associated with RX-7s...says the car boosts fine but he drives it pretty easy...also said the R1 suspension is way too stiff!
it's cool to see nice cars like that "come out of the closet"
it's weird, my heart races every time I see a 3rd gen on the road...I just never get sick of looking at these cars, damn they are sexy

Yeah, there are still some out there. i've got a '95 white FD w/ less then 9k miles on it. I bought it new and still hanging on to it. I've had some good offers. But, the rexy's not for sale.

Yea, I have a '95 FD with 13K original miles. Adult driven, never raced, still the original tires, NO MODS. PEP package, montego blue. oil changed every 2-3K. SWEEEETT...I may need to sell it for new babies!!...offers...hmmmm

going on ebay all the time!
i think theres a 20something k montego blue one on there
right now.
This cars so rare, i'm glad that theres a pretty large
percentage of the few out there, that are owned
by people who treat em right. Although i just hope that
the few times they DO drive em... they drive em right,
cuz i hate hearing about engine dying cuz of that carbon stuff
going on ebay all the time!

The 93 R1 is my girls daily driver......the R2 is a show/race car with about every bolt-on there is.....the 93 touring was just recently bought from a kid going away to college and needed the money for that.
These car's get driven the way that they intended and then some....but not over the top. My girl is learning how to race her's so we can have her drive the R2.
