What's a STOCK engine with STOCK turbos & STOCK fuel supposed to be capable of at 14psi on pump gas. I notice most people posting hp figs. have ported engines, &/or turbos & fuel systems, & make anywhere from 340-370 hp. So, what should an all stock engine be making with an ECU, dp, mp, catback, intake & 13-14psi boost?

 

Probably 285-300. SCC Project RX-7 made 280-290, I can't remember with intake, downpipe, ecu, exhaust and upping boost to 13. Midpipe should make a big increase 20hp in the upper RPM's.

 

Well I have all of that but no mp + an intercooler. @ 11 psi I make 290. My guess is:
-15 No intercooler
+20-30 mp
+20-30 boost
= 315-335 at the wheels but that's just a guess.

 

With some dino tuning those number could go up

 

Cool, thanks for the reply guys, I see that I'm just about in the ballpark. I made 305rwhp at 12psi. Boost spikes to 15psi at transition because of the mp & bleeds off to 12psi by redline. I forgot to add that I'm also using a GReddy FMIC. ECU is PFS PMC. This was without any tuning. Now if I could only maintain the boost at 14psi I could squeeze out a few more hp with some tuning...
