Screw threadlife...need AutoX tires

Not to take away from the other thread about tires but this is only about DOT approved AUTO X tires....screw threadlife or "streetability". I want the tire that grips like a scaried cat on schag carpet!

These will be on stock rims only....also what size tire should I get?

bonus: expected price, where to buy (i.e. cheapest)

Yokohamas A008 RSII rock, but they are no longer available. I have also tried the A032R, they are also as good, but not as sticky as the RSII, but much better in the wet.

I am running 225/50/16 on a set of extra rims, but will probably go up to 245/45/16 on my next set. I have heard a lot of good things about the Kumho Victoracers (alot of guys here run them and swear by them).

I drive around daily on my A032R's as well as Laguna Seca and AutoX's. I love em, but I have not run any other DOT race tire to compare against.

Hoosiers are a little stickier and lighter than the Kuhmos V700. Kuhmos are DOT approved; Hoosiers are not. I plan on buying Kuhmos for my car soo.
