I think that picture of David's car is beautiful!!

I believe the LED helps the car to get an updated look, also it looks so damn nice!!

sp_amend,

Nooo!! Please say you're not seriously considering putting on a body kit... trust me, it'll never be the same afterwards. If anything, all it really needs is updated 99spec wheels. Either the 5 spokers or the BBS style mesh (spirit R)

And yes, take off those stickers. I thought the outlines looked familiar. Didn't want to jump the gun though.

Odelay3,

The FD always looked sinister in black! Keep it like that! Even adding the Feed side skirts, for whatever reason, I don't think it suits the car. Makes it look like there's a platform hidden underneith or something.
The old style RE-Ameiya rear diffuser would look great. Even better if you can find the Mazdaspeed diffuser!

As for the Audi LED strips... well, I guess everyone has their taste. But around here, every Honda, Toyota, and even Chevy Cavaliers are running those LED's.
I guess everyone wants an Audi or something.
It was the same craze BMW created when they introduced their halo rings around their lights. You look around and see how many sub-compact cars have those things. It's insane!

I personally think those LED's are best left alone to the companies who introduced them. VW/Audi/Porsche did a great job on adding those type of lights to their vehicles. It was so successful, even Mercedes had to copy them.

It will take quite a while and a bit of manipulation of the fender roller to stretch the fender like this, but it will stretch.
Oh ok, cool... Did you use a heat gun also?

Hey jared, do you have one?

18" Work CR Kais in Gunmetal. Thanks, I love them.

Also, thanks for the compliments guys, I appreciate it very much.

Seth1884, during my "searching" I did run across some posts in the S2K forums and it appeared the "flush or flat" caps work but I'm pretty sure these need a little space which is why I was thinking the high ones may be in order.

Not sure if you guys have ever spent any time on their forums but let me tell you - there are some ballers on there the likes of this forum has never seen. It's not my taste at all but there was one thread similar to this one and everybody on there spent well over the value of their cars on aftermarket parts and paint. Unbelieveable. But then again, who cares about seeing pictures on a forum of anything close to a stock S2K... Just go outside!

I happen to like S2Ks and it's a shame their production has been "halted"...

I love the LEDs in David's car, it's really a shame Audi has that look so "branded". It definitely makes me look back and wonder what the hell is coming up behind me - is that an R8? No, it's just an A4 with a mom and car seat.

the led strips look awesome!!! I once wanted to do this on the fd too... but I decided otherwise cuz of the "ricer" factor... don't wanna be compared to those stupid ricer sunfire. By the way, I got these on my Audi Q5 and ppl won't stop giving me nice comments bout the leds

I'm not sure if you were talking to me, but do you mean an Eastwood fender roller? I do have one of those, that's exactly what I used.

No I didn't because I was going to paint it anyway, and most of the time you just use the heat gun to save the paint. Although I think it would probably help using it on just the metal too.
