Post Some Pics of your FD! :D <- Pics of your car go in this thread!!
Enough chatter boys, you can discuss your sleepover via PMs
This pic was taken this past Saturday night on the exotic car fun run Dan and I took part in. Here you can see him driving his rotary rocket sled with me riding shotgun and Stitch peaking out over the driver's seat.
Notice the F355 behind us? He tried to take us off the last light and it didn't work out too well for him

gracer7,
I thought I could get away with an extra .6 inches up front, but no dice. The car rubs in corners (worst time to have a sudden deceleration) and the wider/taller tires up front throw off the scrub radius and make the car hunt pavement.
What I have learned over the last yr is that moving toward extremes is often not worth the payoff. For example, my decisions to use a 4.1 rear end w/ a T56, huge wheels, aluminum flywheel, Maval rack, stiff motor mounts and trans mount etc. all have minimal impacts on performance with very discernible impacts on the driving experience and I've hand to spend money twice to move back away from the extremes.
I recently purchased an '02 BMW 330CI and I find it more enjoyable to drive than the FD because the car takes care of all of the external details and allows you to relax and focus on the road ahead. Driving the FD on uneven pavement at high speed feels dicey and the car simply does not handle as well as the 330 at the moment. The mission for me here on out is to optimize the driving experience by moving away from the extremes and bringing mechanics back into the subconscious (I am 6'2" 205lbs evenly distributed for reference - I can turn the wheel).
I don't mean to go on about my car, but I just thought I would share as a heads-up people planning to slam their cars with stiff springs and bushings to fit those huge *** wheels you wanted, eliminating PS, installing aluminum mounts, eliminating A/C etc etc. Think about the driving experience instead of how bad-*** your car is on paper because you are the one who is going to be driving it.

Damn that's sexy! Nice job Scrub! I still need to get those front fenders and drop my rear a bit.
I have 285s on the front and mine drives fine. Of course my fenders are rolled (and slightly flared a bit) and I have a bit of camber until I get wider fenders up front haha.
