This isn't the first one on this board. FORTUNEBV had one in his.

There is a guy in Denver doing a 2JZ swap, and I knew another guy down in Florida that did a 4G63. While I'm not super crazy about anything but a rotary living in the engine bay, I'd definitely take the 2JZ, RB or even the V8 over the 4G. That swap made no sense to me at all, and he kept trying to get me to do it HAHAHA. Yeah I don't think so.

And so I don't get my peepee slapped for not posting pics, here is my most recent engine bay pic. Needs paint, major cleanup and a MUCH bigger filter, but that's in the works right now, along with several other small projects.


And I already posted this pic before but it's the last good pic I had taken cause I suck at taking pics and my camera isn't the greatest either.

i didnt post it to start a shitstorm, and i wasnt ever refering to specs or power or whatever. im just saying... rb in an FD, not to common, v8 in an FD, pretty common

So, you could legalize those rims but not Volks?? I would re-coat the Volks before I put those on the FD. But its your car...

 

the problem is, japanese rims don't have a "kba" number, which is neccesary to get them legalized. those rims have one ... i could ask anyway, but in average case i don't have any chance.

lol alright ill play, ill agree to a certain extent, however its the engine itself that makes it...ehh screw it you heard that part before lol i am enjoying experimenting with different ways to make rotors more reliable as well as some custom turbo setups so its all still new

as for the swap...ive already met 5-6 people local that own one..so its nothing special...if you modify those covers to say Rx-7 ill throw you a little ohh and maybe a little ahhh on the side, maybe a turbo setup for its sheer complex looking piping...but just a plain old v8 swap...ehhh you just made it more reliable and stuffs
