Your wheels may be slightly tucking but the whole car is still a foot off the ground

Please explain.

I just ran through your posts looking for more info on your build.

I'd really like to see a dyno sheet.

are you sure your not making roughly 450 at the crank?

+1 450whp on bnr's is a BIG number. Is that on race gas? psi?

Just my .002 cents..

L8R
that was a huge issue that we addressed

the weight of the rear 20 inch rim is 22 pounds and thats a 20x10.5
the forging process of the face of the wheel is the best of the best so we kept weight as low as we could
i mean its not exactly an rpf1 but its not bad for a 20 lol

we are beginning the build now
we are working on getting between 450-475 to the wheels

so far our major things to get to that are:

Large street ported engine
ported throttle body, UIM and LIM
the BNR stage 3s
Custom V-Mount intercooler/radiator set up
Power FC
1000cc primary and 1300cc secondary injectors
dual fuel pumps
and either meth or water injection

if im missing anything major from that list that would help any advice is much appreciated for us to get to our goal

The thing of it is that you are guessing when you throw down that number (bad idea to forecast dyno numbers, you lose credibility & are normally disappointed by your actual results)

Pushing the twins as hard as you are planning to, that list is far from complete.

I'm going the same path, but I'm not shooting for a number. I'm simply trying to maximize the efficiency of the sequential BNR system.

I think of the twins as an underdog, but if your dead set on those numbers, you might want to go single.

the thing is i've seen the BNRs make those numbers on just over 18 psi
its not so much that i'm dead set on those numbers, i'm using them as a goal to get to
you're absolutely right in saying that its a stretch and im going to need alot more than stated above, but i'm really taking my time on this project and perfecting just about every part of the motor with the help of all the people on this forum

i know i will get those numbers, i might have to pour in some race fuel lol but thats fine with me

plus steve kan works miracles on that PFC so i guess living so close to pettit is an advantage...

i wont get my 450 right away, but we will make it there

im just like you man i see the twins as underdogs and all they need a push in the direction and a lot of fuel

You won't make 475. Been there, done that, for many years. If you make 425 on the BNRs consider yourself 'The Man.'

Bryan himself will tell anyone who listens the factory shared turbine housing is a huge restriction and keeps power down to that level.

450 SAE rwhp won't happen either, or I'll eat my hat. Not trying to rain on your parade, rather trying to inject a bit of realism (and experience) into your project

is there a turbo that you can run sequential that can make that kind of power?

The thing is that with the single turbo ( at least I do ) get a lot of turbo lag.

lol i believe in just about anythin goodfella says... we'll be doing our best to get the most out of those twins as possible

450 is a goal, might have over shot it a bit but a goal none the less lol
and since it is said to not be possible, i'll probably do my utmost to do it now, i'd like to bring something new to the forum besides 20s on my FD lol

like rx7janoy (my partner/boss) said is there another way to get around the turbo lag?

maybe a custom sequential or custom non sequentials
our main objective no matter what is to make as much power as possible with as close to stock spool time as possible

He's obviously saying you are losing performance to go with looks. Rollin on dubs in no way gives your car an advantage. Heavier wheels, less grip in the tires, shoulda gone with 18's.... We're all just sayin...

i dont think theres anyone who would say that throwing 20s on would improve performance, im making a mix of performance and style, the wheels drop a bit of performance out but damn it looks good...and anyways these wheels wont be on the car when im on the track lol

what i was saying is that i'm not doing the 20s without doing any supporting mods to the brakes and engine

its not going to be ricey with 20s and nothing to back it up
