Just the way the covers are designed I guess. They are just Karmotion headlights from eBay.

I thought about ditching the covers, but I worry about a huge rock chipping the CF overlay...

Not to mention, they look much better in person. They don't bubble up as high as you think...

the color came out great. I'm still not a fan of touring wings. looks good though.

 

still need to take care of some things in the front end for it to be "done".
I picked up the FEED Afflux GTII wing to complete the look...but I don't intend to drive around with it daily.
Will probably use the GTII wing and the RE-A diffuser for "event" days, and roll in a subtle rear and wing for other days.

 

First of all baddass ride you got there.

Question: given that those fenders have slotts where other cars have mudflaps, isn't it going to cause major chips from rocks being kicked up by your tires?

 

^^^ I have seen several FEED kits and that front fender issue has yet to be resolved.
I've seen newly painted fender with rock chips after a few miles of driving.

 

Specially when you have sticky tires on...

3M Clear Bra. A good investment for any lowered car with nice paint.

Can't tell.

His car has seen dozens of track days and still looks good.

You can also wax/ polish 3M clear bra as if it were paint, unlike it's competitors.

 

I guess it depends on the paint job. i have about a dozen trackdays into my car and my fenders are are totally fine...and the tires I run are on the sticky side

 

front's not done yet. needs the lens over the headlights and the hood...

Looks sick those CE28's are the ticket! What a beat it looks amazing from MB to eggplant really looks good.

I don't know why but I think those wheels in silver would make it all look even more amazing

Imstillonjava has the exact car I want except for the headlights, wheels, colors and the way the diffusers are done =P other than that it's exactly the way I want it.

Has that always been the FEED wing or did you have a different wing in one of the other pictures??

 

thanks everyone. It just came back from the shop and I've had to dial in a few adjustments just to get it up my hellish driveway haha! So the rear diffuser had to be pulled off temporarily, and the car raised a bit.

Ken and Makito at Shine were messing with my wing a bit, its got a few adjustable settings and they were having fun with it. I was just in a hurry to make the 25 miles home back before dark because the headlights aren't wired yet, and I picked it up at 7pm last night!
