Yeah, I'm sure they drill holes in the car to bolt the rig on ... They're called suction cups.

There are 3 basic types of rigs. Magnetic, pinch-weld, and suction cup. The magnetic and pinch weld are both under car rigs while the suction cup rigs are over the car. I used a suction cup rig. The magnetic ones suck because of the undercoating on cars really reduces the strength. The pinch-weld ones basically pinch on to any flat surface (using bolts and screws) such as a body panel seam or subframe seam.

I was thinking those are suction cups in Phil's shot, but maybe they are pinch, hard to tell with the angle. Definitely not magnetic as I don't think his hood is metal, with those vents and all.

I changed it because my EX girlfriend had gotten my old nardi wheel for me. And I was really tired of driving my car and looking down at my steering wheel knowing that she had gotten it for me.

Most recent pics. I have to go hoodless right now, just like ihavetwins haha, because the jackasses at the body shop broke my hood release cable when they messed up the core support and I didn't notice it until I was bolting in the core support. I also have to put the diffuser on, and the hood is a Scoot replica. But here it is for now...
