this is the car last spring


i used to think this turbo was huge

then one of the apex seals on the back rotor went bad and it was time for a rebuild
out with old stuff

in with new

now the new engine needs to be taken apart port and polished and put back together with some other goodies

 

some more of building the engine

a new friend for the engine


also while the engine was out i decided to test my polishing skills

back to building the engine

now putting it in

caution keep children and small animals away from turbo lol

 

supra 27. what is up with the horid body gaps?? and the wiper?? 666

 

i also re-leathered my seats too

here they are in the car

now most of the crap is in

i also decided to make a fuel filter bracket since the old one is now useless


Then i ran three 6an fuel lines from the cj dual fuel pump bracket to the engine bay and got a air filter

a quick comparison pic of old turbo vs new one

 

some finishing touches was making a new radiator over flow tank

i also relocated the catch can to be next to the over flow tank

the finished look( ya right when are we ever finished under the hood lol)

The last project was doing the tail lights which cost 11 dollars vs 500 dollars

Here she is now waiting for a tune once this god forsaken snow stops

Haha, who cares what color! An FD and a Supra under one roof makes my pants shrink

18x8.5 +45 and 19x10.5 +36 Ce-28ns with 235/40/18 and 265/35/19 tires

 

how come you have different sizes front and back. doesn't that mess up the ABS?

Finally sunshine! Washed and cleaned her up a bit

 

setup is for a more aggressive stance and i dont see why it would mess with abs
