[QUOTE=james81;8534995]Here's some pics from a trackday 2weeks ago. Me in my Japman7 and my Dad in his Chevy Lumina, or I think it's a Pontiac GTO in the states?
[QUOTE]
Your right on both
In the states that car was the Cadillac Catera, the american version of the Holden Commodore/Berlina/Calais which was based on the two door GTO which was a massive failure.

My friend (the bike) and I tried to get someting out of this surrounding...obviously it wasn't too successful, lol
Car's dirty...and it's a little high, but it's good for my area with bumpy and crappy roads....hahaha

^So THAT'S what black RPF1's look like. I've been thinking about powdercoating mine. Hmmmm...
When I was in Okinawa, one of the guys I worked with had a 4-door R-32 GTS and he swapped in a turbo and manual trying to make it a GTS-T. It surprised a few people, but I still thought it was a waste of time.
And there was a civilian contractor over there that had 2 R-32 GTRs. One was white and one was gunmetal, both were pretty clean, and he was selling both of them for $12k. Not each, that was for BOTH. If I'd had the money and didn't have to worry about getting it up to US spec when I got back, I'd have bought at least one of them. And there was something special about the white one, something like it was one of the first 500 made or some ****.
Oh and there was a DeLorean outside my other friend's shop, haha. That was a surprise.
I personally do not care for the R32 GT-S and GT-Ts as those are a dime a dozen, and not to mention pretty damn slow. Finding a clean R32 GT-R even in japan is still very hard. That and this silver one is a 94 (last year for the 32), remanufactured, and refreshed by Kaizo as a 2007 Shell , and a V SPEC II.
Even in the USA, GT-Rs are somewhat getting more and more "common" if you will say...

Hahaha yeah, I love the color better than silver, but that's just me though. I personally think red goes better with black than silver, so I jumped on it when Rishie from Auto RnD came out with them.
You should go look into his sub section for more pictures, there's a nice black on black FD with good resolution pictures.
BTW...How do I make the pictures big instead of just small thumbnail icons?
Sorry..not forum savvy here even though I'm relatively young...lol

I upload my pics to photobucket and use the IMG link it gives you and just post it right into the text. If you quote someone with pics you can see what I mean.

FD's can really boggle the mind sometimes, but it all becomes worth it when you drive it again
It was throwing monsterous sized flames and the track was really really dirty too, so dirt struck to anything that got a lil warm or moist. The whole car was filthy.

Yeah I got all my wheels from Rishie. Not too long ago I went wider on the rear and moved the rears to the front. Rishie is a good guy, always helpful. Where can I find the pics of that FD? I was planning on painting mine black and powdercoating the wheels too for that Batman effect, haha.

KinRX7, love the RX. Engine bay looks immaculate. How did you go mounting the aircon, brackets and lines? Looking into a V Mount myself but wondering what brackets etc are needed to mount everything as the HKS Kits don't seem to come with mounting kit nor instructions. Piping is so direct without many elbows too. Any help with mounting would be great. Thanks

aircon stayed, didnt have to touch it. pretty much the kit had everything, battery didnt have to be relocated to the boot, all the brackets and everything are included. Theres more than 60 bits and pieces to the kit. It does take some effort to fit it tho, i tried damn hard to find english instructions but i couldnt find it so just gave it to my mechanic and he just toiled at it. he said took him nearly a whole day to setup.
